This year we have the ambitious goal of purchasing Telemedicine equipment.
This is the use of telecommunications technology for medical diagnosis and
patient care when the provider and the patient are separated by distance.
This means patients could be seen by a Doctor in Fargo, Grand Forks or even the
Mayo Clinic by simply driving to NCHS.
The time between injury and treatment should ideally be kept to a bare
minimum; this lag time has come to be known as the GOLDEN HOUR. After which
time the survival rate for traumatic patients can lesson.
Please consider helping us provide Nelson County and surrounding communities
with this time saving equipment by donating calculating the distance you are
from NCHS Hospital and sending that dollar amount.
