Nelson County Health Services Foundation has been in operation for over 20 years!
We are a not for profit charitable organization whose purpose is to provide financial support for
equipment, services, education, and other capital projects relating to health care in Nelson County
and the surrounding areas.
The Foundation is the salvation of the Nelson County Health System. Monies raised by the
Foundation will help insure the long term availability of a progressive, high quality health system,
while maintaining the caring, personal touch for which Nelson County Health System is known.
The Foundation has been responsible for raising over ONE MILLION dollars to benefit the Nelson
County Health System. We are very proud of the fact that over $750,000 of these dollars were
returned and reinvested in the Health System.
Monies raised by the Foundation will help insure the long term availability of a progressive, high
quality health system, while maintaining the caring, personal touch for which Nelson County Health
system is known.
